SANYO
The name SANYO in translation means "Three Oceans" - the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian Oceans. The company was founded in 1947. It all started with the production of generators for bicycles, invented in the 40s, and already in the 50s the company took a major step forward and gained popularity thanks to the transistor radios that appeared on the market. The company launched the production of washing machines, televisions, refrigerators. SANYO was one of the first manufacturing companies to increase the export of its products outside of Japan.

SANYO currently includes 100 subsidiaries on six continents. Now the company is working in two main areas: the use of "clean" energy and the improvement of information transmission facilities. In 1980, SANYO became the first in the production of amorphous silicone batteries. The company has developed environmentally friendly freezers with ultra-low temperatures of -152 degrees Celsius.

SANYO is the main producer of the following products in the country: CD players, semiconductors, large integrated circuits (LSI Chip) that automatically control and set the image quality on color TVs, optical pickups, navigation systems used in cars.
